Más Playas en Mi Vida: Off the Beaten Path

September 29

When traveling, I always try to see as many popular sites as possible. Places that always show up on the postcards, places that gained fame for a reason. But I think it’s also important to go off the beaten path …which is exactly what some friends and I did today. Literally: to get to this beach, you have to walk for forty minutes through a series of back roads and farms.

One benefit: we pass a small music festival where we can grab some drinks before continuing on our journey!

Even getting to this beach was scenic.

Once you manage to get to this beach, however, everything you see is worth it. And there’s more to look at than just the landscape…as this beach is known for being nude-friendly.

Ironically enough, when I arrive, the only nude person is the son of the student who found this beach for us!

Thankfully, all these photos are 100% PG. Enjoy!

Three of these guys flew above us for hours.

High tide is coming in.

If you’re especially curious about this wonderful beach, follow this link (Getxo Beach Tide) in order to see a slo-mo shot of the tide coming in.

I didn’t get my Ariel shot, but this was close enough!

Even in late afternoon as it cooled down, this place felt and looked like paradise.

Thank you, Spain, for exceeding my expectations of beauty ❤️
